About the department

You get the opportunity to join an international, high performing team with a variety of technical backgrounds (biology, pharmacy and chemistry). We secure Novo Nordisk’s innovation in close collaboration with our researchers around the world, and draft and prosecute patent applications in all major countries. We also keep an eye on our competitors, and engage in challenging their patents if they limit our freedom of operation.



The job

As an intern in Corporate Patents you will take part in various projects and day-to-day tasks. You will support the team with the optimisation of business processes, in particular in connection with in-department and interdepartmental communication. Other connected areas of interest are internal information management, training and elearning.



Qualifications

We are looking for an intern who is passionate about communication and education. You are currently studying on your master’s degree in information science, communication or related studies. Knowledge of implementing communication solutions using IT is also an advantage. We expect candidates to be service minded, thrive in a busy environment and bring a can-do attitude. Fluency in both oral and written English; ability to manage a large volume of projects (with supervision); sound personal judgment; and excellent interpersonal skills are required.



You are an outgoing person with a strong personal drive and dedication. You have professional and personal impact that is reflected in your desire to take initiative. In addition, you thrive in a busy environment and bring a can-do attitude and a healthy sense of humour to your work – even when the pressure is on. Finally, you must have strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility for your own learning.



Practicalities

Qualification: Students in their first or second year of their master studies.

Period: The internship position is a full-time position for 4-6 months.

Start date: 01 January 2016
