About the department

Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S is a 100% owned subsidiary of Novo Nordisk A/S and is located in Køge. We manufacture excipients to Novo Nordisk and API and excipients to the global market. We are around 150 employees.



Business Support consists of 10 employees who within various areas such as Planning, Finance, Purchasing, IT and cLEAN are supporting management in driving and developing the company.



The job

You will play an important role in Business Support where you will assist in developing our tools and strategies for how to further improve and optimise the daily supply chain. In this job you will need to do extensive analysis of our supply chain – both physical and in our newly implemented ERP system (SAP). Furthermore you will need to work with our Sales & Marketing department in order to take into account the sales forecast for the years to come.



Qualifications

We are looking for an intern who is passionate about supply chain management analysis and having the urge to want to improve business as-is where data and thorough analysis tells that an optimisation is possible. A strong theoretical tool box will come into use and we need a candidate who can manage the fine line between pragmatism and theory. The analysis and results hereof will be included in our Production and Supply Chain Strategy. Therefore the candidate must have strong communication skills in converting data into valuable information on which strategic decisions will be made.



Preferably you are a Masters student within Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management or similar. You are self-motivated with a strong personal drive and dedication; you enjoy data processing activities and are able to maintain confidentiality of the data. The job requires a structured and organized approach, and you have the ability to work independently. You have excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to collaborate across boundaries. You are highly skilled with MS Office and find it easy to master new IT systems.



Practicalities

Requirement: Students in their first or second year of their master studies.

Period: The internship position is a full-time position for 4-6 months.

Start date: 5 January 2016
