About the department

Biopharmaceuticals (in short Biopharm) is an organisational unit within Product Supply. Biopharm supplies products in the therapeutic areas of Haemophilia, Growth hormone disorders, Hormon Replacement Therapy and Diabetes (GlucaGen®). BioFP Kalundborg (BioFP KA) is a newly established CVP area in Biopharm and consists of two finished production (FP) departments; Biopharm FP Packaging (dept. 114) and Biopharm FP Filling Operation, BFK (dept. 2153).



Department 114 is responsible for the packaging of NovoSeven® and NovoEight® Mixpro®. The department will also in the future be responsible for the packaging of GlucaGen® Hypokit. We are under a constant ramp-up challenge, launching new countries, and at the same time establishing more capacity.



The job

As we are a relative new department, we urgently need the establishment of the needed data structure, in order to execute our orders in the most efficient way. The task is to create the transparent overview of min.:Data structure throughout our whole flow (Lead time, Quality, Right first time. Etc.). Descision parameters, in order to be most efficient. Challenge existing KPI’s, and suggest optimal KPI’s for the unit.



Qualifications

We are looking for an intern who is passionate about production analysis and communication. General knowledge of health or production services disciplines and key methodologies (Production flow, database analysis, cost-analyses) preferred. We expect candidates to be service minded, thrive in a busy environment and bring a can-do attitude. Ability to manage a large volume of projects (with supervision); sound personal judgment; and excellent interpersonal skills are required.

In addition, you thrive in a busy environment and bring a can-do attitude and a healthy sense of humour to your work – even when the pressure is on. Finally, you must have strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility for your own learning.



Practicalities

Requirement: Students in their first or second year of their master studies.

Period: The internship position is a full-time position for 4-6 months.

Start date: 1 February 2016
