The job

As our new Senior Project Manager, you will have the overall responsibility for the implementation of complex IT solutions delivered to customers in one of our six customer regions. At the same time, you and your team will support our business development activities in these regions in close corporation with our sales department. This includes preparing proposals and any other business development activity requiring deep knowledge of the products and services we offer.

You will have the responsibility for multiple project at the same time, being a mix between delivery and business development. You will prioritize, coordinate and optimize activities across the projects, and, in corporation with your colleague project managers, do the same across the service delivery department. It is you responsibility to deliver to agreed scope, schedule and quality, and at the same time maintain and develop the long-term customer relationship.

As part of the job, you will be collecting knowledge about the customer’s way of doing business, and bring this back into Systematic, to support development of world-class products and services for the defence sector worldwide. To do this, you will need to keep up to date with Systematic defence offerings while also acting directly as an advisor for our customers, or bring into play the right colleagues that can help our customers improve their business.

You will be people manager of your own core team of highly skilled consultants, which you will grow in capability and size as we develop our business in the customer region. You will also be utilizing experts from other teams and departments to ensure the best quality in specific deliveries, and to help ensure load balancing of employees across teams and departments.

Your skills and personality

We expect that you: • Have an IT-related university degree and competences comparable to PMI/PMP, Prince2 or IPMA level B/C • Have at least 4 years of experience as a Project Manager, and proven results running complex IT projects in a busy environment • Are skilled in combining business insight with IT-Knowledge to create value for the customer • Are outgoing and excellent at communicating with our external customers • Possess leadership experience and have the ability to coach and motivate others inside and outside own organisation • Have a proven ability to deliver on cost, schedule and quality • Military knowledge or experience is an advantage, but not a requirement. • ITIL certification is also an advantage

You are ambitious and you raise the bar to new heights. You have the will and the ability to continuously develop yourself, and as a team player, contribute to the continuous development of both the team and the company. You have a positive attitude; you are committed, flexible and diplomatic.

You are fluent in written and spoken in English. Furthermore it will be an advantage if you are Arabic speaking.

Your base will be in Aarhus, Denmark and you must expect some travel.
