We are looking an Internal Project Manager for our Internal Projects department, which creates value for Offshore Project Management by driving internal improvement, optimization projects, process management and dedicated programs.
As an Internal Project Manager, you will act across the different regions in Offshore supporting our customer project organization with improvement projects. You will have the full responsibility for executing internal projects within the defined requirements in regards to cost, time, functionality and customer satisfaction agreed with the project sponsor. Furthermore, you will act as an IT Content Manager, directly responsible for the part of the IT tool packages which are anchored in Offshore Project Management, driving the IT-strategy and interface with IT. Finally, you will be part of our facilitation and optimizations tasks across the project management community in Offshore.
What are my responsibilities?
• Lead and execute internal projects with focus on IT solutions for Offshore Project Management in corporation with our Siemens IT partner, thus ensuring the development and maintenance of a unified approach to our regional setup
• Capture and identify feedback from projects in each region in regards to use of IT related tools • Liaise with other Siemens Wind Power business units to ensure and improve Best Practice
• Drive on-site tests of new solutions and evaluate suitability in cooperation with the stakeholders • Ensure sustainability in implementing solutions by ensuring the relevant knowledge-sharing throughout the organization
• General support including training and instruction of personnel in systems and processes
• Drive the implementation of new procedures and enroll new systems and IT applications
• Facilitate and assist in process improvements on different projects
What do I need to qualify for this job?
• You have experience from driving IT oriented projects and a good knowledge base in IT solutions and data management, preferably combined with experience from working with PM@Siemens or related project management concepts
• As a person, you are result oriented, analytical and have the drive to get the job done. Moreover, you have the ability to coordinate and mobilize resources from across different parts of the organization and projects
• You are able to work in an international environment and comfortable with networking across the entire offshore organization
• You have a good multicultural understanding and possess good communication skills in English, both orally and in writing
