At Novo Nordisk, we share a passion for changing patients’ lives, and we are always looking for talented individuals who want to join us in this effort. Our internships provide exciting learning opportunities for students who bring new ways of thinking to our company.

About the department

Corporate Public Affairs (CPA) consists of two departments; National Public Affairs (NPA) and Cities Changing Diabetes (CCD). CPA is responsible for driving global advocacy platforms under the Changing Diabetes umbrella, including Cities Changing Diabetes (<a href='javascript:openLinkWindow("http://www.citieschangingdiabetes.com)")' "="" data-cke-saved-href='javascript:openLinkWindow("http://www.citieschangingdiabetes.com)")'>http://www.citieschangingdiabetes.com). NPA supports affiliates in addressing business challenges and opportunities where politics and policy play a role, and drives the effort to strengthen public affairs capabilities in Novo Nordisk affiliates around the world.. Finally, CPA builds and publishes evidence, generates the insights and develops the policy recommendations for payers and policy makers on the value of prevention, early detection, and better management of care.

After a successful launch in five cities around the world, we have strengthened the organisation around the Cities Changing Diabetes programme to drive the implementation of the scientific, communications and advocacy agendas. In 2016, the key priorities are to drive the programme forward in the five study cities (Mexico City, Copenhagen, Houston, Tianjin and Shanghai) and to prepare for the next phase of the programme.

The job

You will support project managers in the CPA teams in day-to-day business processes and tasks. In this role you will work to develop evidence to the two teams in CPA to address strategic questions, help to develop/ensure timely updates to Public Affairs tools, work with team members on ad-hoc analyses, and assist with planning/development of activities to support Cities Changing Diabetes.

You are currently studying on your master’s degree in pharmacy, public health, health services research, health economics/economics or other relevant field.
