Immersive Experience Designer

Bang & Olufsen is looking for an Immersive Experience Designer to join the Human Interface Design team. We design for a relationship between humans and products, and how those products come together in a system. Our goal is to create products that serve and inspire people. 

Your mission

You enjoy working at the intersection of art, design, and software engineering. Using audio-visual tools, you sketch and prototype new interfaces, interactions and experiences that give technologies meaning and shape. You code real-time interactive experiences through multiple iterations from sketches to polished prototypes. You desire to drive projects with App designers, Interaction designers, Industrial Designers, Acousticians, Developers and Engineers.

Your location and network

You will be part of the Design team and based in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark, nearby Copenhagen.

What you bring

As well as providing a link to your portfolio showcasing your work, you also come with:

• Ability to iteratively design and code real-time interactive experiences from sketch to prototype

• Demonstrated experience designing and developing interactive audio-visual experiences

• Experience using machine learning to enable a product experience or design tool 

• Communicate interactive concepts effectively in writing, images, storyboards, and videos

• Creatively solve problems using code or computational thinking

• BS in Computer Science or BA in Media Arts or equivalent program. Or maybe you don’t fit any mould and have industry experience instead

• Experience with creative coding tools like JavaScript, Processing, Max/MSP, TouchDesigner, ARKit or Vuforia.
