Job offer description

A large organisation based in Nass, Co. Kildare are currently seeking a Hygiene Supervisor to join their team. Previous experience in a supervisor role / managing staff is required. Excellent package on offer incuding pension and health insurance  

Duties include:

•Plan and co-ordinate daily/weekly/monthly cleaning schedules to ensure full compliance

• Have the factory Audit Ready at all times

• Delegate tasks to hygiene team according to skills/training matrix

• Clean production equipment and facilities

• Ensure all Cleaning Instruction Cards & Standard Operating Procedures are followed

• Highlight training needs to Hygiene Manager

• Train individuals as required

• Train the team to correct standards as per procedures

• Use chemical agents as directed by the Manager in the discharge of cleaning operations after receiving proper instructions and training

• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects

• Be flexible in terms of any other cleaning duties as directed by Manager

• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs

• Work closely with Production Supervisor in planning activities

• Ensure all staff work in a safe manner, proactively highlighting potential risks

• Follow all health and safety regulations

• Conduct weekly inventory of chemicals and PPE

• Induct new members into team

• Plan and maintain roster on weekly basis

• Check and maintain chemical strengths
