Job Summary We are looking for an enthusiastic and service-minded Host & Guide to join our Lapland adventure team. You will welcome guests from around the world and guide them through unforgettable Arctic experiences, such as husky safaris, reindeer tours, snowmobile rides, Northern Lights excursions and other Lapland activities. Your role is to create a safe, engaging, and memorable atmosphere while sharing insights about local nature, culture, and traditions. The ideal candidate is passionate about outdoor life, enjoys working in Arctic conditions, and has excellent communication and customer service skills. Salary discussed individually and based on experience, according to the Finnish collective agreement.
Requirements
Fluent in English (other languages such as Finnish, German, French, Spanish, Italian or Chinese are an advantage).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in customer service, tourism and guiding .
Good physical condition and willingness to work outdoors in Arctic winter conditions.
Driving license B (D 1 license is a plus)
Positive attitude, flexibility, and team spirit.
Previous experience in tourism, guiding, or outdoor/animal-related work is highly appreciated.
Experience in guiding northern lights or knowledge of aurora science and photography.
Experience in working with huskies, reindeer
Knowledge of first aid and safety procedures.
Additional language skills (Finnish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, etc.).
Snowmobile driving skills and driver license.
Passion for Arctic nature, Lapland culture, and outdoor life.
