Join us to define Bang & Olufsen’s social media strategy, create a unique brand identity per social channel and produce social media storytelling whilst boosting earned media.

Your mission

As our new Head of SoMe , you will join our marketing & communications team based in Lyngby; Denmark. Your focus will be to deliver our SoMe strategy whilst creating a best in class channel practise, leading the global accounts to ensure coherence and constant quality.

Moreover, you will;

  • Identify and execute relevant initiatives to implement into the Social Media strategy and involve key stakeholders

  • Enhance and scale the Global Influencer Marketing and Ambassador programme, working with influencers directly and specialist agencies

  • Guide the definition of social media brand guidelines and enforce on a global level

  • Manage the Social Media budget according to strategic priorities

  • Work closely with the customer service team to ensure best-in-class community management

  • Collaborate with local marketing managers and developing tactical plans for amplifying local initiatives

  • Manage and mentor the SoMe team, inspiring them to evaluate B&O’s SoMe presence.

  • Work with the SoMe team and Media Team on the development and amplification of great content media placement

  • Track channel and campaign KPIs regularly and enforce initiatives if necessary in order to steer the performance

  • Collaborate in building a plan to leverage brand loyalist communities across relevant forums and social media channels

  • Responsibility for content optimization; working with in-house creatives and Campaign Management to ensure content is designed appropriately for channel



Your location and network

Located at our global offices in Lyngby, Denmark, you will join a diverse and multi-cultural marketing and ecommerce team of over 70 people, plus regional teams. Additionally, you will regularly interact with all marketing departments (communications, operations, analytics & insight, brand), as well as leaders across global sales, product marketing, product design and many more.



What you bring

We are seeking a SoMe leader with experience in leading the global social media strategy for a luxury brand whilst managing and mentoring a team of SoMe experts.

Moreover, you bring:

  • Over 5 years experience of working in social media and influencer marketing for a B2C premium brand - client-side or agency experience

  • Broad customer centric marketing experience – client-side or agency experience

  • Good crisis management and customer engagement skills are essential

  • Deep market and consumer behaviour knowledge

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage international, cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders

  • Demonstrable experience in elevating a brand’s social media experience

  • Be on top of influencer marketing and social media trends

  • Acknowledged communicator at all levels

  • Strong organization skills and structured

  • Experience in agile ways of working in a fast-paced environment

  • Fluency in English is mandatory
