The job Oticon Quality plays a significant and continuously growing role in ensuring high quality processes and deliverables. The Head of QA is a new position which will further strengthen this work through implementation power and continuously development of quality assurance strategies, in alignment with the overall business goals. As the Head of QA you will be responsible for the Quality Management System (QMS). You provide leadership to teams, peers and the organization, ensuring that the QMS is in compliance with relevant regulations, and that necessary governmental approvals are being maintained. You will manage the QA department – which consists of highly motivated and skilled people - ensuring capacity and competencies matches the needs to support the business functions, cross-functional projects and calibration activities. To succeed in the role, the Head of QA will partner with R&D, Marketing and Operations ensuring that the right guidance and support for fulfillment of standards, checks and controls are provided. You act as Quality representative on behalf of senior management on milestone and stage gate meetings. As a part of this role you also perform and manage internal audits and interact with certifying bodies to fulfill reporting requirements and obtain new product clearances. The position is situated in Oticon HQ in Smoerum, and an international mindset, collaboration and impact are of high importance. You will report to the Senior Director for QA/RA and 5 employees are reporting directly to you. Qualifications . Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a QA leadership role; international experience is highly desirable. . Significant experience with implementing and certifying of Quality Management Systems. . Strong knowledge of quality management systems and Quality System Standards, including ISO quality standards, and QSR (ISO 13485, FDA CFR 21 Part 820) . The ideal candidate will have familiarity with medical devices . Willingness to travel globally on a regular basis – expected travel days are 20-30 a year As a person you are a passionate leader and a strong communicator with a confident and out-going personality.
