Head of HR Operations (Maternity Leave Cover)
Our client is one of the key international cement producers, serves customers on over 25 markets and a leading producer of building materials in Bulgaria. We are currently searching for a highly motivated professional to join their team in the role of:
Head of HR Operations (Maternity Leave Cover)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute personnel administration processes
- Monitor and elaborate reporting on key HR operational KPIs
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports/ dashboards for business leaders
- Lead personnel cost planning, forecasting and monitoring activities (including modeling of salaries, headcount, social charges, overtime, temporary labor, bonuses ect.), ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Oversee monthly tracking of labor costs, analyze variances and trends, and develop dashboards and KPIs to support data-driven workforce decisions
- Participate in the process of compensation benchmarking (e.g, Mercer, Korn Ferry), prepare company data, preform analysis of market data, to provide proposals for competitive and equitable pay policy)
- Support the annual salary review process and provide data-driven insights through compensation reporting and KPIs
- Manage the administration of all statutory and non-statutory employee benefits including health insurance, pensions, disability coverage, canteen or transport allowances, and wellness programs
- Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance in all HR operations
- Identify process improvements and promote automation and efficiency across HR systems
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline
- At least 5 years in a HR operations or payroll management role – experience in industrial environment will be an advantage
- Deep knowledge of:
- Labor legislation (e.g., collective bargaining agreements, shift work regulations)
- Payroll systems and taxation rules for technical/shift workers
- Strong experience with HR systems (e.g., SAP, HeRMes) and reporting tools
- Familiarity with job grading systems and compensation frameworks (e.g., Hay, Mercer IPE)
- Strong analytical skills and financial literacy
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management, especially in unionized environments
- Very good written and spoken English skills
