We’re looking for a Head of Development who doesn’t wait for the future — but builds it. At Robust, we need a leader who can connect technology, people and vision, and turn ideas into machines that set new industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- lead, mentor and develop the R&D team,
- plan and manage development projects from concept to serial production,
- design and optimize structural and technical solutions,
- collaborate with production on implementation and troubleshooting,
- ensure high‑quality technical documentation,
- monitor trends, innovations, legislation and standards (ISO, CE),
- communicate with external partners (institutes, suppliers, universities),
- manage the development budget and track KPIs.
- university degree in mechanical engineering or related technical field,
- at least 6 years of experience in machine development or machinery,
- strong knowledge of metal materials, hydraulics, welding, automation and electrical systems,
- advanced CAD skills (SolidWorks or equivalent),
- proven experience in project and team leadership,
- understanding of technological processes and ISO/CE standards,
- analytical thinking, innovation and strong problem‑solving skills,
- active knowledge of English or German,
