Guest Relations Agent

What to expect
Employees in this position are responsible for providing excellent service to customers prior to their arrival, during their stay and after their departure. They will always strive to fulfil the company's high standards.
Main responsibilities
- Responsible for creating positive customer experiences and fulfilling customer requests where possible.
- Handling complaints and resolving customer issues by providing a suitable solution for each case
- Receiving and responding to daily emails from the hotel regarding service and customer requests and taking specific action to fulfil these where possible.
- Works to support the reception desk when necessary.
- Acts as a direct point of contact for all tour operators and their representatives at the hotel. Responsible for ensuring good co-operation between the company and its partners.
- Responsible for VIP customers, customers with health problems or special requests and regular guests
- Organizes guided tours of the hotel for all interested parties.
Necessary qualifications & skills
- Degree related to the hospitality industry
- Excellent knowledge of English language
- Knowledge of a second foreign language will be considered an additional qualification.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a corresponding position in a 5-star hotel
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer orientated approach
- Ability to effectively solve problems related to customer expectations.
- Basic knowledge of the implementation of ISO 9001, 14001 and 22000 management systems
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations in the workplace
