Specialist, development of embedded data communication software 

Do you have the technical mindset and savviness to engage in close cooperation with other tech giants worldwide?  As a specialist you will part of a strong team that ensures a seamless transmission of vital data between Grundfos products and various ecosystems. Secure optimal embedded technology

Within our HQ in Bjerringbro, you will join our Technology Innovation team responsible for development of embedded technologies for SMART Buildings and data communication and remote control of pump stations, valves and other solutions. 

Here, you will work with a team of specialist colleagues dedicated to provide high quality embedded software for data communication. This team is a part of a larger Technology Innovation development organization providing technology for the product development organization. You will likewise be in contact with many international experts, external suppliers and universities.

Concretely, you will:

-    Develop and qualify embedded core technologies such as Bluetooth, Thread, CHIP, Wi-Fi and other wireless data communication solutions in close cooperation with the biggest tech giants in the world e.g., Apple, Google among others.

-    Drive integration and perform debugging of developed technologies.

-    Evaluate 3rd party software.

-    Secure reliability, robustness, cost and code efficiency within technology solutions.

-    Scout for new technologies according to business needs.

Expert developer and debugger

-    You have at least 3 years’ experience with development using C for embedded systems.

-    You have solid knowledge of data communication protocols for short range wireless communication systems such as Bluetooth Low Energy, Thread, CHIP, Wi-Fi, or the like.

-    You are fluent in English.

-    If you have knowledge of tool chain programming, embedded hardware, data security, phone app development and Linux, it would be a great plus.
