For our Product Management Department within our Offshore market unit, we are looking for a Grid Expert to contribute to the development of future Offshore WTG’s. The Product Management department is owner of the product development roadmap, working closely together with internal development teams in R&D and stakeholders from Procurement, Manufacturing and Service. Furthermore, Product Management is providing technical support on new products and solutions towards customer projects.

What are my responsibilities?

As a Grid Expert, you will be responsible for the development of product requirement specifications and secure that the grid requirements are known for future new product developments. More specifically, your responsibilities will cover: • Full knowledge of market requirements within the Grid area for Offshore target markets • In coordination with R&D and with input from the market segments develop the roadmap for grid development activities • Drive the commercial assessment and prioritization of new Grid standard solutions • Develop requirement specifications for new products or features to be developed by R&D • Kick-off and monitor development activities when needed to meet project needs and timeline. Secure transparency of deliverables from development activities in R&D • Follow up on needed project development to evaluate risk of commitments made to projects

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• You hold a B.Sc. Electrical Engineering or similar relevant education combined with a minimum of 5 years’ experience within product development and engineering processes • You have experience from R&D, Technical Sales, Project Management or similar within the Wind Turbine business • You have a strong technical knowledge about Grid functionality, preferably in relation to WTG development, and a technical understanding of the product value chain • As a person, you are structured, decisive, change-oriented and proactive • You have excellent communication and English skills, both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
