Grails (Java) Developer For Web Application

As part of the development team, we build, integrate and maintain innovative web-based systems that enhance the P2P financing experience. Our technical team is a close-knit group of developers who work to make sure the website is maintainable, speedy and stable. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, build and maintain the application.
• Develop monitoring and reporting tools.
• Assist in defining project architecture to meet requirements.
• Implement solutions to customers issues.
• Work closely with product managers and architects to develop new features.
• Integrate Third Party applications through APIs.
• Develop and execute unit & integration tests.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ year’s overall development experience in Java.
• Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
• In depth knowledge and experience of object-oriented analysis and design.
• Experience with source control, such as Git, and Bitbucket or Github.
• Knowledge of jQuery & Twitter Bootstrap UI frameworks.
• Experience of working in a Linux-based development environment.
• Experience of developing web services and APIs, e.g. RESTful architectures.
• Experience of working within an agile environment.
• Excellent communication (good written and spoken English) and analytical skills.
• Experience of Groovy & Grails is a big plus.
