If yes, this might be the right job for you. We are looking for a Global Product Manager for the Semaglutide Global Brand Team.



Results from the first semaglutide phase 3a trials, SUSTAIN 1 and 3 have already reported, and Novo Nordisk expects to announce headline results of the four remaining SUSTAIN trials within the next coming quarters. Once-weekly semaglutide is a new generation GLP-1 receptor agonist developed for the treatment of patients with type 2 diabetes.



About the department

The Semaglutide Brand Team is part of GLP-1 Diabetes in Global Marketing & Medical Affairs. As Global Product Manager, you will be part of a dynamic, high-performing team consisting of 6 dedicated members. The position is based in Copenhagen (Søborg), Denmark, reporting to the Global Marketing Director for the Semaglutide Brand Team.



The job

The global brand team is responsible for developing and driving implementation of the global marketing and brand strategy for semaglutide. We provide strategic direction partnering with affiliates and global functions. We are responsible for commercial deliverables to the portfolio strategy, PDP and SPP process with the ultimate goal of establishing yet another strong brand.



We spearhead the development of product positioning, key selling messages, brand and visual identity and - as we get closer to launch – campaigns, sales aid and other promotional materials. We work closely with colleagues in Global Development, Regulatory and Medical Affairs in ensuring a commercially attractive label.



We seek to deliver an ambitious communication strategy and plan, including engaging public relations & media activities as well as ensuring organisational readiness for potential issues as well as competitor responses.



As Global Product Manager, you will be engaged in a number of the above tasks. You will work cross-functionally with a wide array of global functions as well as colleagues in affiliates and regions.



Qualifications

You have at least 4-6 years of relevant work experience within pharmaceutical global marketing/medical affairs/sales/project management and possess excellent project management skills as well as a good understanding of the governance of development projects at Novo Nordisk.



You hold a Masters’ Degree (business, economics, science or the like) with excellent results. International experience is an advantage.



You enjoy working in cross-functional teams with many stakeholders. Enterprising and result-oriented, you have a high level of drive. You are analytical, structured, and comfortable working both as part of a team and independently with responsibility for your own tasks. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required in English.
