Back Office Support Professional (German speaking)

As a Back Office Support Professional, you will have to keep contact and build a strong relationship with the company’s clients and partner departments in order to find the best solution for the upcoming problems. The main focus of the role is to support all business area’s activities to run smoothly.

The Back Office support professional fulfills a complex role, so your responsibilities may include:

  • upload customer’s data to the internal company system
  • contract administration (create credit/debit notes)
  • checking payment delays and outstanding invoices
  • inventory administration and follow-up
  • billing 
  • take ownership of complex queries

The role may also include the following responsibilities:

Financial support

  • check outstanding invoices of customers, cash-collection
  • keep in touch and follow up the customers about unpaid amounts on a daily basis (via phone and e-mail)
  • keep the customers' portfolio up-to-date

Operations support / Delivery support

  • planning the route of deliveries worldwide
  • keep contact with suppliers over the phone and e-mail
  • handle upcoming issues and be responsible for the deliveries

Customer Care

  • keep contact with customers about general, upcoming issues
  • handle incoming calls and e-mails
  • handle complaints about services, and provide professional help

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (at least in process)
  • Advanced knowledge of English & German (language skills will be tested)
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Result-oriented personality 
  • Strong analytical skills and conceptual thinking
