Egemin is active in building automatic and semi-automatic warehouses, sorting systems floor chain systems. In these systems the automation process is key for the implementation proces. As an E&I engineer you are responsible for engineering, building and implementing this automation process.

Acting as the level 3 functional point of contact troughout the complete project.

Define data models and interfaces

Work out use case scenarios together with our client

Drawing of mock ups for the different user interfaces

Hand over (in depth briefing) of your part of the project to the projectteam responsible for implementation.

Providing conceptual and functional support during implementation of the project Creating the test scenario’s together with the lead developer

Participating in the creation of the proposal to our client Providing support during the presentation of the proposal to our client.

Profile and opportunities

  • You have a strong experience in the functional analysis of level 3 information flows in production facilities

  • You have a strong knowledge about ISA-95 and ISA-88

  • You are eager to gain knowledge about the business processes within our customer and the utilities sector

  • You have notions of .NET technology

  • You have notions of MS SQL server databases

  • Knowledge about manufacturing processes, orderpicking processes, batch picking processes, warehouse management, man to goods – goods to man concepts is an advantage

  • You have affinity with level 2 (PLC/SCADA) and level 4 (ERP) processes

  • You are a teamplayer

  • You have strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills

  • You have a pragmatic approach to solving problems.

  • You are result oriented

  • Strong communication skills

  • Customer focussed

  • You express yourself fluently in English.

  • You have a master degree (or equivalent through experience)

  • Minimum 5 years experience
