Due to market expansion, Catena Media is seeking to recruit a number of Finnish Frontend Web Developers to join our SEO team! If you have been involved in the development of websites and are interested in furthering your career within a fun and professional environment  – We want to hear from you!

Working as a Frontend Web Developer for Catena Media, you will help develop and implement search engine optimization efforts for our web properties. Mainly by focusing on affiliate websites and brand portals. This is a key role in achieving further growth and requires a bright, focused and creative mind to do so. We are looking for an individual with at least, 1 year experience in Web Development or equivalent experience, ideally from a similar field. If you are fluent in Finnish, a self-starter with a can-do attitude and with working knowledge in Webmaster Tools and Web Development – send us your CV and cover letter today!

 

Responsibilities

• Report directly to Senior members of the team

• Develop and manage websites, using popular CMS like Wordpress

• Create and publish content for websites managed by you

• Assist in monitoring projects and deliver with limited supervision

• Track, value and manage the process of buying and setting up domains

• Plan and set up website packages and thereafter the websites themselves

• Work with other departments to develop new and to improve existing sites

• Build links for Catena Media’s affiliate websites

• Use appropriate tools to monitor and track website performance

• Review Web Hosting status and Domain Ranking factors

• Identify areas for improvement on websites, link building and performance

• Keep on top of trends and adapt to shifts within the industry

Requirements

• Fluent in English and  Finnish

• 1-2 years’ relevant work experience

• Analytical and inquisitive, with excellent attention to detail

• Good knowledge of Web Development, Web Design, HTML coding and CSS

• Working knowledge of Google Analytics/ Webmaster/ AdWords tools

• Good understanding of domains and managing DNS records

• Knowledge of cPanel, Web Hosting Manager (bycPanel) & DirectAdmin

• Basic understanding of SEO, will be considered a plus
