Front End Developer (m/f) for PubNative

PubNative is a mobile publisher platform that serves scalable and flexible native ads via API for apps and mobile web. Our publisher-first approach focuses on the specific needs of each publisher across all verticals. Therefore, we care about the design of our products. We want our products to be usable and easy to use. We are currently developing new products and revamping our existing ones.

We are looking for a Front End Developer to join our Berlin office to our Engineering team.

Your responsibilities:

• You analyze, design and implement web (desktop and mobile) based solutions for the PubNative platform.
• You take ownership over specific components in systems and continuously work to improve them.
• You producie clean, semantic and mobile-optimized web experiences using JavaScript, HTML5 & CSS3.
• You working closely with fellow teammates as well as product management and design team to deliver quality products and solutions on time.
• You rapidly diagnose and resolve production issues.
• You are conscientious about performance implications and the overall scalability of your code
• You are proactive and pay attention to the scalability, performance, availability and usability of our systems
• You research for new technologies and happy to learn new ones that will improve our products and development flow
• You work with our designers to create solutions that offer a good user experience

Our requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in front-end software engineering using the latest technologies
• Experience developing highly interactive web applications with JavaScript and AngularJS
• Experience working with SASS
• Excellent object-oriented JavaScript skills and experience with JQuery or similar
• Experience with Git/Github
• Experience with MVC frameworks such as Rails, Zend, Symfony is a plus
• Working experience in Unix / Linux environments is a plus
