Join FLC as a Lean Process Sr Engineer

Are you passionate about continuous improvement and optimizing production processes? FLC, a leading joint venture in large infrastructure projects, is seeking a Lean Process Sr Engineer to join our team. As part of our continuous improvement efforts, you will analyze and improve our marine production cycles, reduce waste and inefficiencies, and implement Lean methodologies.

About FLC

Femern Link Contractors (FLC) is a joint venture responsible for designing and constructing immersed tunnels, tunnel portals, and ramps. Comprised of nine international construction companies with expertise in large infrastructure projects, we are committed to delivering a state-of-the-art immersed tunnel, portals, and ramps on time and safely, in a sustainable and ethical manner.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization
  • Plan and implement improvement projects across our entire value chain
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary teams to optimize marine activities for the installation and protection of the immersed tunnels
  • Apply Lean methods for waste identification and process optimization
  • Train the organization on Lean principles and process improvements
  • Assist and challenge the execution team in defining key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Monitor process performance and implement corrective actions when necessary

Job requirements

Qualifications

  • High motivation to work hands-on on the shopfloor
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, business management, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in a process improvement role, preferably in a marine environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to drive change across the organization
  • Project management experience, including managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to identify waste and inefficiencies and develop effective solutions
