For the offshore activities in FLC Marine, we are looking for oriented and experienced Marine Team Leader who can manage multiple aspects of marine operations efficiently. You will assist Work Manager in planning and managing key marine work packages, including Elements + FG transfer operations, rigging, and lines handling assistance. Who is FLC? Femern Link Contractors, FLC, is the joint venture responsible for the design and construction of the Northern Europe’s biggest construction project resulting in the longest immersed tunnel in the world. Our joint venture consists of nine international construction companies with individual experience in large infrastructure projects. Together, we are committed to working together to deliver a state-of-the-art immersed tunnel, portals and ramps, delivered on time and safely, in a sustainable and ethical manner. Main responsibilities (but not limited to): Preparation Stage: Handle lines and perform moorings as per the Work Method Statement (WMS). Direct and supervise the team on the installation of small mooring winches. Coordinate with the Work Boat crew during wire transfers. Program Management: Update the 3-month look-ahead program on a monthly basis. FLC Own Works Management: Coordinate the supply of materials with the site engineer. Manage the mobilization and demobilization of resources (personnel and equipment) with the basin manager. Subcontractor Management: Act as the FLC representative when necessary for: Weekly meetings with subcontractors. Quality control. Monthly progress reviews. Coordination with other works. Health, Safety, & Environment: Participate in fortnightly safety site visits. Provide pre-task briefings. Follow up on action plans. Develop risk assessments. Reporting: Report daily progress to the site supervisor, including: Work progress. Resources. Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) matters. Quality Management: Ensure quality control measures are in line with the inspection and test plan. Environmental Management: Verify that environmental protection measures are correctly implemented.

Job requirements

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Previous experience in marine works.
    • Preferred: 5 to 7 years.
    • Accepted: 3 to 5 years (preferably as a former barge/deck foreman or highly experienced AB seaman).
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Familiarity with VHF radio communication.
  • Minimum experience with winches.
