This is your opportunity to join a dedicated team of professionals and become an important part of the construction of the Fehmarn Belt tunnel.

We are currently looking for a Logistic Engineer/Planner to our site in Rødbyhavn.

Responsibilities:

The Engineer/Planner will be responsible for the continuous coordination and planning across the Tunnel Factory Site, and the various production lines, who demands materials and/or transportation.

It could amongst other be raw materials (rebar, concrete, rocks, aggregates, formwork, etc.) arriving and departing our harbor, or prefabricated rebar panels from on-site location to production. As ramp up is just around the corner, there will in time be a busy network of different vehicles, and different tasks which needs to be controlled and carefully planned, to ensure the production and flow of materials back and forth every day – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

It will be necessary to have good coordination skills, to ensure the full overlook together with Production Teams, and Marine Team.

During periods of holiday, leave or absence, the intention is that the Logistic Planner and Logistic Manager cover for each other. Reporting is directly to the Logistic Manager.

Logistic Duties:

Through this responsibility various tasks will be associated:

  • Daily coordination of material transport for production in close cooperation with Logistic Manager, Marine Department, Concrete Production Department and Production units.
  • Long term strategic planning of material delivery to FLC Port, according to production demand.
  • Ensuring that maintenance of the equipment is conducted, taking the daily operations in to consideration.
  • Occasionally function as substitute for Logistic Manager.
  • Superficial knowledge of various Logistic ad-hoc tasks.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Experience on civil works project is an advantage.
  • Experience in strategic, logistic planning and coordination.
  • Knowledge in lifting operations is an advantage.
  • Staying on top of things, even in a fast-moving environment.
  • Fluent in English – spoken as well as written.
  • Knowledge of the Danish and European rules.
  • Speaking Polish is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the common MS Office applications.
  • A confident manner, team spirit and a reliable way of working.
