Join FLC as a Lean Process Engineer

Are you a skilled Lean Process Engineer looking for a new challenge? FLC, Femern Link Contractors, is seeking a motivated individual to join our continuous improvement efforts and help optimize our production processes. As a Lean Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in analyzing our production cycles, reducing waste and inefficiencies, and implementing Lean methodologies.

About FLC

FLC is a joint venture consisting of nine international construction companies with extensive experience in large infrastructure projects. We are responsible for the design and construction of the immersed tunnel, tunnel portals, and ramps. Our mission is to deliver a state-of-the-art immersed tunnel in a sustainable and ethical manner, all while ensuring that our project is completed on time and with the highest level of safety.

Your Responsibilities

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization
  • Plan and implement improvement projects in collaboration with other departments
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary teams towards industrial prefabrication
  • Apply Lean methods to identify waste and design optimized processes
  • Train the organization on Lean principles and process improvements
  • Assist and challenge the execution team in defining and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Monitor process performance and implement corrective actions when necessary

Your Qualifications

To be successful as a Lean Process Engineer at FLC, you should have:

  • A high motivation to work hands-on on the shop floor
  • A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering, business management, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a process improvement role, preferably in a prefabrication or manufacturing background
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive change across the organization
  • Project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • An ability to identify waste and inefficiencies in processes and develop effective solutions
