And do you want to act as the technical subject matter expert, thoroughly understanding products, features, functions and benefits while being able to communicate to all internal and external stakeholders? Then you could be our new Field System Engineer in Denmark. At Danfoss Automatic Controls Commercial Compressor, AC/CC, you will be part of our Regional Sales Office and have colleagues based internationally. The job will be based in Hasselager, Denmark, and you will report to the Business Development Director, Automatic Controls. Technical sales support Your main objective is to support the Global and Regional Key Account Managers and the Sales Managers to secure their overall business development plans. You do this by providing component/system expertise, troubleshooting knowledge and overall support in the selection, qualification and application of the product portfolio in Denmark. This means that you will identify the critical sales factors in customer projects from a technical point of view and propose/drive activities to achieve them. You will also ensure proper selection, application/qualification within the AC product portfolio. You will ensure that products are being properly handled and installed at the customer factory level. Your success depends on you facilitating product and training presentations including new product introductions. And to develop technical sales aids to support the value selling proposition, to coordinate technical decisions with factories, Account Managers and other relevant stakeholders. Finally, you will provide customer field support, frequently visit customers to improve overall visibility and assist in qualification testing at customers’ laboratory facilities as required. Solid technical knowledge Being an experienced systems engineer you master all relevant tools. You have a proven track record working with technical sales support (solutions architect, systems engineer, sales engineer, etc.). Today you could be working within automatic controls, air conditioning or similar market segments. You have solid knowledge of the sales cycle, strong verbal and written communication skills and proven negotiation techniques. You have great relationship building skills, tenacity, resilience and presentation skills. And you have strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and set priorities.
