MAIN DUTIES/JOB DESCRIPTION -

  • TIG Welding - Stainless Steel
  • Interpret all engineering drawings.
  • Fabricate components, assemble components, and install components.
  • Operations include ; layout and mark steel for cutting, burning, sawing, shearing, punching, rolling, bending, and drilling, shaping, forming, straightening
  • Metal fabrication includes welding, bolting, riveting, inspecting, priming, painting, rigging, and handling of subcomponents.
  • Employ furnaces or hand torches to heat up materials to make them more flexible for bending or manipulation into the correct specification
  • Maneuver fabrication machines, such as grinders, drill presses, brakes, rolls, shears and flame cutters to cut, bend, grind and adjust materials
  • Make templates for common work tasks when conducting repetitive motions for the fabrication process to ensure a set standard of work quality
  • Fork truck handling. Training & Licence provided.
  • Use of a variety of hand or power tools and specialized machinery.
  • Adhere to all ISO procedures. Attend Training and adhere to HR & H&S legalisation and policies.
Job requirements

5+ years welding experience required. 

TIG Certification and SMAW Weld Certification required.
