We are currently looking for a highly skilled Front End Developer to join our Product Development department’s Email Xperience Manager team in Copenhagen and contribute to Sitecore’s vision of enabling our customers to own the experience.



About the job

As Front End Developer in our Email Xperience Manager team, you will design and implement world-class user interface widgets and components. You will participate in the implementation of technical solutions for our Email Xperience Manager product.You will join a team that is dedicated to creating best-in-class rich web user interfaces for everyday users and you will work closely with User Experience Designers, Product Managers, Core Developers, Architects, and other Front End Developers working in geographically distributed locations.



Your responsibilities

•Develop best-in-class presentation layer components and widgets

•Manage multiple tasks at the same time, focus on internal best practices, coding, testing, documenting, and determining specifications

•Work flexibly in an Agile development environment, keeping pace with the development team and adapting quickly to change

•Adapt user experience and front-end coding for various projects

•Stay up-to-date in current and emerging technologies, standards, trends, and research; collaborate with team members to understand and apply these improvements

Your qualifications

•4+ years of full-time front-end web development experience

•Expert in JavaScript, jQuery library, CSS, XHTML and writing semantic, lean code whenever possible

•Very strong knowledge in HTML5 and CSS3

•Strong knowledge in building widgets, UI components, and controls

•Knowledge of unit testing JavaScript code frameworks (Jasmine, QUnit)

•Experience with any or all of the following is a big plus:

•Building AJAX or API driven user interface

•Server-side development with at least one back-end technology (ASP.NET, C#, PHP, Ruby…)

•Implementing WAI Web accessibility and Keyboard support

•Working with core developers and UX designers

•Automated test environment

•Experience using some of these tools is a big plus:

•AMD Loader (require.js)

•MVC Framework (Backbone.js, Knockout.js, Angular.js)

•CSS grid system (Bootstrap.js, Foundation.js, Blueprint.js)

•Node.js

•Proven ability to work independently, create prototypes, and sketch mockups

•Excellent problem solving skills for complex solutions

•High attention to detail and quality
