Currently, we give support to ALTEN on European level in searching of candidates, mainly for IT/ Telecom and Engineering positions. For one of our clients form telecommunication sector based in Brussels, Belgium, we are looking for Embedded Real-Time Software Specialists with at least 5 years of experience. The main responsibilities for this position are: Analyze , define and anticipate technology c hoices at an architecture level Manage a nd take part to the development Follow up the project within the qu ality and methodology framework Follow up de adlines and financial reporting Define test strategy, and follow-up in coordination with different team
The candidate we are looking for should have the following skills:
- Hands on experience on best practice and perfect understanding of memory management, CPU management and real-time management constraints
- Hands on experience on some Real Time OS (VxWorks…)
- Knowledge of some communication protocols would be a great advantage
- Knowledge of Multimedia application would be an advantage (video or image compression standards...)
- Extensive experience in embedded software development for real time systems (at least 5years)
- Very good skills in English
