You will become our new subject matter expert and a key colleague for our electronic department. You will work closely with the R&D and Quality departments and report directly to the Head of System & Maintenance.
Your main tasks will be failure analysis on the electronic components of our reefer machine, such as print boards or sensors, according to the input from Quality department.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Take ownership of troubleshooting on electrical and electronic components on the Star Cool refrigeration machine in order to optimize and ensure highest quality
- Identify mitigation areas, actions and specifying improvements to relevant parts
- Become a specialized go-to-person on the Star Cool refrigeration machine
Ideally, you have profound experience within Electronical Engineering. Some experiences within refrigeration would be considered an advantage but is not necessarily a requirement.
We are looking for someone who has very good analytical skills, a holistic view, and a good sense of urgency in terms of prioritization of tasks.
Additionally, we expect you to have:
- Bachelor’s and/ or Master’s degree as an Electronic Engineer
- Experience with electronic components and basic project management skills
- An honest curiosity for natural sciences and interest for thermodynamics
- A solid understanding for electrical circuits and technical terms
- Ideally, you have some experience within the root cause analysis process of electronic components
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are a prerequisite
You must expect approx. 15-20 travel days a year.
The salary is being negotiated according to your level of experiences.
