For our Electrical Engineering team within the Siemens Offshore market unit, we are looking for an Electrical Specialist to strengthen our engineering sales oriented activities. Aim is to provide excellent engineering leading to best in class customer satisfaction.

The Electrical Engineering team located in Vejle and Hamburg plays a key role in the electrical package all the way from project acquisition to final hand over to our customers. We master the details and at the same time bridge to tomorrow’s technologies and methodologies.

What are my responsibilities?

As an Electrical Specialist, you are responsible for providing specialized technical sales support from the early beginning of the project and until contract hand over. After contract hand over, you will also in some cases take part in the project execution utilizing your strong engineering skills. More specifically, your assignments will cover:

• You have the full overview of the complex electrical systems in the turbine and in a wind farm, and you communicate this information in a clear and customer oriented way regarding back office as well as front line activities, where you find the solution together with the customer’s technical experts

• Providing specialized engineering sales support with responsibility for the electrical package

• Participating in development of new products and grid interfaces at turbine as well as at wind farm level • Providing specialized technical support and troubleshooting in relation to electrical wind turbine systems and components

• Creating technical documentation within your area of responsibility What do I need to qualify for this job?

• You have a strong technical background and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering combined with 5+ years’ of relevant experience from the wind turbine business or from the offshore, consultancy, utility, manufacturing or construction industries.

• It will be an advantage if you have participated in execution of international large scale projects, knowing that a well-executed project starts with a well negotiated contract.

• You are proactive, open-minded and well-structured and capable of creating and maintaining an overview of complex systems

• You have a positive mindset with a commercial approach to business, and you are good at networking

• You possess excellent communication skills in English, orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
