Our portfolio of significant, technically complex offshore wind farms is increasing worldwide. Therefore, we are looking for experienced and committed Electrical Engineers for the Offshore Engineering department at our Offshore Competency Center in Vejle, Denmark, or our office in Hamburg, Germany.
Work Assignments
As an Electrical Specialist you are responsible for designing project specific LV and MV systems in accordance with our contracts and international standards (mainly IEC). You drive the design and test process all the way from contract signature to final handover to our clients.
More specifically, your assignments will cover:
• Providing Engineering sales support with responsibility for the electrical package
• Designing and configurating LV auxiliary systems incl aviation and navigation aids
• Designing, configurating and testing MV equipment incl multifunction relays
• Providing specialized technical support and troubleshooting in relation to electrical wind turbine
(MV/LV) equipment
• Participating in development of new products and grid interfaces
• Creating technical documentation within your area of responsibility.
• Depending on your skills you might also get an important role in our helihoist engineering activities
Your Profile
You have a strong technical background and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering combined with 3+ years of relevant experience from the wind turbine business or from the offshore, power plant, manufacturing or construction industries. Furthermore, it would be an advantage if you have participated in international, large scale projects. As a person, you are open-minded and well-structured and capable of creating and maintaining an overview of complex tasks. At the same time, you have a positive mindset, are good at networking and possess excellent communication skills in English.
