Sharavogue is a long-established Crèche, Montessori & Junior School in the Glenageary area , South Dublin (Ireland). We have been in operation for over 35 years and are passionate about childcare. We have a lovely environment with large outdoor play areas and a great team.
We are looking for Early Years Educators in our Creche & Montessori (children aged between 1 and 3 years)
The Early Years Educator is responsible for helping in the day-to-day organisation and delivery of the childcare service in Sharavogue. In carrying out this role you are responsible for implementing Sharavogue’s Policies in the area of Childcare, Health, Safety and Hygiene and in maintaining a high standard of care which promotes the holistic development of each child within their group and in Sharavogue generally.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To provide a safe, creative and stimulating learning environment for children in the group which enhances each child’s growth and development.
- To work as part of the team in relation to developing appropriate programmes, as set down in the Aistear and Siolta Curriculum, to meet the developmental needs of each child. To always adhere to quality childcare practices while dealing with the children.
- To work flexibly as required to meet the needs of Sharavogue.
- To be aware of the importance of confidentiality in all matters relating to children, parents and staff.
- To communicate with parents. Each individual child and their parents must be greeted each morning and their parents given a full report each evening.
- Minimum Childcare Qualification (QQI/FETAC - Level 5) is essential
- Primary Teaching qualifications that are on the DCYA listing are accepted
- Excellent English & Communication Skills
- Currently living in Ireland with accommodation is a bonus
