Job offer description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Energetic, self-motivated, and strong work ethic
- Assist with maintaining classroom order through observing, guiding, and re-directing children as needed
- Prepare materials and organise classroom supplies
- Assist with record keeping, observations, assessments and curriculum development
- Develop positive relationships with parents, children, and colleagues
- Meet weekly with team to discuss curriculum, lesson plans, issues, and questions
- Assist with cleaning and setting up the classroom furniture and materials on a daily basis
- Attend staff meetings and CPD training every month
Job requirements
- Minimum Level 8 in Early Childhood or any relevant Early years qualification
- At least 1year experience in an Early years setting or early years intervention class
- Qualify for DCYA recognition
- Must have knowledge of the Aistear Framework
- Covid training
- First Aid
- Manual handling training
- Fire safety certificate
- C1 - English
