About the department

You will be part of Business Support in DFP Bagsværd which consists of approx. 30 employees. We are responsible for projects, logistics, IT, training, cLEAN® and performance management. Our focus is to comply with all regulations and standards and at the same time optimising and improving our processes. By doing this we become an active player for the rest of the factory which is essential for a Business Support department.



The job

You will join a Logistics Team of 6 highly skilled colleagues. The team is responsible for both long term (tactical) and day to day (operational) planning in the factory in Bagsværd where we formulate, fill and inspect injectable products for diabetics. We are producing 3 different formats both 1.6 and 3 ml Penfill® together with 10 ml Vial®. To be able to balance supply and demand of these products we need to have the overview of our internal capacity across the departments in the factory. You will support our Planners in maintaining this overview by developing the right set of KPI’s and by that taking an active role in ensuring timely delivery of the right products. Besides supporting the Planners, you will also provide the Management Team in Business Support with recommendations for optimization from you observations in the daily work.



Qualifications

We are looking for an intern, who is passionate about planning and logistics. You are currently studying your master’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, economics or other relevant fields. It is an advantage if you have a general knowledge of GMP or health services but it is not a requirement. You are analytically strong, and you enjoy solving complex tasks with a structured approach. You are fluent in both oral and written English, you possess the ability to manage a large volume of projects (with supervision), your personal judgment is sound, and you have excellent interpersonal skills.



You are an outgoing person with a strong personal drive and dedication. You have professional and personal impact that is reflected in your desire to take initiative. In addition, you thrive with working in an environment where considering a multitude of factors and stakeholders are an integrated part of the job. You are able to prioritise your assignments and estimate the consequences and risks in the decisions you make. You are an energetic and flexible person with a positive mind-set, who takes pride in delivering high quality work. You are a team player who also enjoys working independently. Finally, you must have strong work ethic and the willingness to take responsibility for your own learning.



Practicalities

Requirement: Students in their first or second year of their master studies.

Period: The internship position is a full-time position for 4-6 months.

Start date: February 1st 2016.
