Job offer description

Are you a skilled project manager with passion for project management and do you have a background within electrical engineering? Are you eager to become part of one an innovative and growing company where culture is key and technology is our passion?

At DIS, we are experiencing an increase in demand from our customers, who are among the largest and most recognized companies in the industry. We are currently looking for skilled project managers at our office in Aarhus.

Leave your mark on future solutions

As a project manager at DIS, you will experience a challenging and varied workday, working across industries and with a large area of contact in different organizations. In this role you will face a great deal of independence as you will be responsible for project scoping, planning, quoting and project execution. You will be responsible for ensuring the project delivers according to agreements, hereunder the project's benefits, disbenefits, cost, quality/requirements, risks, scope and time via an on-going planning and management of issues and uncertainties in close dialogue with the internal team of engineers and our customers. Our project management tasks range widely, but a common feature is that they require project management experience, business/commercial understanding, the ability to lead and motivate people, and the willingness and enthusiasm to ensure projects deliver according to the agreed terms with the customer.

We are looking for experienced project managers, who are visionary and professional team members

You have a theoretical background as a diploma/civil engineer within electrical engineering. We are searching for candidates with approximately 3-7 years of documented project management experience where you independently had the responsibility for product development projects and preferably have the appropriate project management certifications to support it. Like us, you are passionate about project management as a discipline and you want to develop your skills as a project manager.

To ensure progress of a project, it is important that you are effective and skilled in stakeholder management, and that you know of the best-practise methods (E.g. PRINCE2 and SCRUM) to both stich out clear agreements with the customer, as well as measuring the progress and status of the project (e.g. via product-based planning). You are ambitious, dedicated, and you are constantly seeking to improve yourself. In addition, you enjoy a workday with challenging tasks, occasionally forcing you to move out of your comfort zone. Therefore, it is crucial that it is natural for you to act in a changing environment with diverse corporate cultures and industries where you easily adapt to new situations and thrive on change. As you will lead projects with people at different levels, it is important that you can cooperate at all levels in an organization and that you are outgoing, empathetic and have strong collaboration and communication skills in both Danish and English.

At DIS, professionalism, development and a sense of community are important keywords

At DIS, you will be assigned a buddy who will help you during the first months of employment, so you quickly feel at home at DIS and become part of our community. We constantly focus on developing our employees and DIS as a workplace. We employ more than 500 employees in offices in Denmark and abroad. Here we focus on a good workplace, and we have always been ambitious about DIS being a unique place to work, where you as an employee are challenged with exciting projects – at DIS it must be fun to go to work!

We look forward to hearing from you
