In ALTEN Spain we are recruiting now engineers to join our different projects in Alten´s European offices. We believe that if you fit Alten´s profile, speak fluent English and you are open to gaining international experience, we can help you to find a suitable international position. 


For one of our clients based in Mannheim, in Germany we are looking for Development Engineer in the exhaust aftertreatment.


Your responsibilities:


-In order to ensure compliance with future European emission standards, you are going to develop and evaluate concepts in the field of (diesel) exhaust aftertreatment

-Not only the development but also the handling of regulation and control software will be part of your area of responsibility

-You will plan and supervise tests on the engine test bench and manage the evaluation, presentation and discussion of the experimental results

-Furthermore, you will be in charge of commissioning and monitoring of the exhaust aftertreatment to test vehicles

 

Your profile:

-You have completed your degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or an equivalent degree program successfully and have some professional experience in the field of exhaust aftertreatment / motor development

-Ideally, you have already learned the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) during your internships or your professional experience and you know how to use MARC, INCA, DIADEM or similar

-Also, you are proficient in English. It would be great if you have some German language skills as well
