TET ESTEL is looking for DESIGN ENGINEER (railway industry)

Job description

Works on designing of products and development of technical documentation on electrical energy converters for railway transport of:

- rolling stock,

- traction substations, i.e.:

  • Development of assembly and detail drawings of structures and specifications;
  • Performance of required engineering calculations on mechanical strength;
  • Mathematical modeling of mechanical and thermal processes;
  • Development of text documentation for products (technical specifications, passports, trial programs, technical requirements for elements of the structure etc.);
  • Selection of optimum hardware components and materials of the structure, participation in establishment of orders for components and materials;
  • Author’s supervision over production process, participation in trials and commissioning of finished product, as well as commissioning operations, if required.

Requirements to the candidate

General requirements:

  • Higher engineering education with respective specialty;
  • Experience of work in a similar position (senior specialist or manager in railway branch);
  • Experience of project or people management/control is welcomed;
  • Professional user of 3D modeling programs:  SolidWorks, Inventor;
  • Knowledge of requirements to development of design documentation;
  • Knowledge of languages: Russian (free use) and English (colloquial+ technical language);
  • Ability to work in team, self-study and communication skills

Additional benefits:
