Design Engineer (m/w/d)

• Responsible for the design of medium voltage inverters.
• Gathering information, documenting, reporting and tracking design improvements, updating strategic product plans and developing understanding. 
• Contribute own creative ideas to projects and propose follow-up activities based on project results
• Provide business process consulting services such as design to cost, design for manufacturing, design for testing
• Participate in work teams and support staff and advise team members and colleagues to gain information and knowledge
• Recognise the importance of intellectual property in the industry
• 5 years of experience in an electromechanical environment as an engineer in the field of control panel design, power converter technology or similar
• 1-3 years' experience as a work package manager or project/product manager
• Good knowledge of CAD/Creo Design with associated Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) and in SAP (data management)
• Solution-oriented approach and good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Familiar with R&D product development methods, Agile, Scrum and Lean6sigma
• Fluent in English, basic knowledge of German, Polish and Finnish would be an advantage
