Job offer description

Currently, we give support to ALTEN on European level in searching of candidates, mainly for IT/ Telecom and Engineering positions. For one of our clients from automotive sector based in Brussels, Belgium, we are looking for Design Engineer with experience in Catia design. You will be responsible for designing and developing of automotive components and other components with the CAD system CATIA V5. You will provide the simulation and calculation solutions. In addition, you will be responsible for optimizing the designing taking into consideration time, cost and quality targets. Furthermore you will perform feasibility studies and create tolerance analyzes.

The candidate we are looking for should have the following skills:

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or equivalent degree
  • Skilled in the plastic and / or metal-friendly development and are an expert in the use of CATIA V5
  • At least 2 years of experience in the field of design and development
  • Fluent English is required. French will be a great plus.
