Customer Services Engineer ‘Motion’
DepartmentFor the Headquarters of LMS International in Belgium, we’re seeking an Application Engineer Motion. This person will be part of the LMS Customer Service CAE team. Responsibilities The focus for this function is on the technical support of customers of LMS Virtual.Lab-Motion. The main responsibilities will be: Post-sales support* Participate to the Response Line work: solve customer questions and modelling problems* Priority setting in function of call-type, customer, commercial impact* Teaming with other LMS departments to deliver a correct answer in a timely manner* Communication of meaningful information to colleagues (HQ & Local Offices)* Major account follow-upProfessional Services: Customer Training• Give standard Training class room• Give on-site customer training• Execute customer benchmark projectsMaterial creation: Training material & tutorials, Technical Notes• Update of training material in synchronization with new releases• New tutorial creation• Technical Notes creationPre-sales Support• Demonstrate LMS solutions at exhitions and at customer sites• Perform benchmark projects to convince potential buyers of the technical strength of our solutions• Prepare technical content of our offerings to customers. Profile requirements• Educational Level: Mechanical engineer, university or univ. of applied science diploma / master potentially bachelor• Experience: 1-3 years of multi-body simulation preferably with LMS Virtual.Lab or with a similar software (e.g. Adams)• Good English, German is an asset• Frequently travelling (30-40% of your time) is requiredSpecific personal competencies:• team player• commercial attitude• ability to learn fast• ability to work under pressure• customer oriented
