Start working with us as a COTTAGE CLEANER at Destination Lapland Oy located in the Lappish part of Finland. Take the unique opportunity to see the Northern Lights in the dark Arctic winter. Apart from the Northern Lights, which can be viewed commonly from late August to April, you can also enjoy plenty of other excellent activities in the rough landscape such as fells and canyons, wetlands, rivers, and lakes with the authentic Lappish charm.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Cleaning cabins of different levels, changing sheets, cleaning common areas, cleaning toilets and washrooms
• Helping with snow work if needed
• The possibility to do other tasks according to own skills

WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

• Previous experience in cleaning is desired
• Driving Licence is a MUST (and having the courage to drive on snow)
• English language on communicative level (level B1)
• The ability to work independently but also in the team
• Willingness for physical and busy work

WE OFFER:

• Finnish seasonal employment contract
• Working schedule: 90 h / 3 weeks
• Duration: 14.11.2022 - 30.4.2023
• Basic salary: 12,30€/h/Gross + Extras (monthly around 2000-2200€)
• Allowances for shift work (evening shift +1,33€ hour), Sundays, and public holidays (100%)
• Shifts focused on the weekend: 10-12 h shifts on the weekend, 6-8 h shifts on Mon-Fri
• The accommodation provided by the employer, paid by the employee; cost: 100€ per month for a shared room
• Terraced apartment includes bed sheets, towels, and basic kitchen equipment
• Borrowing snowshoes and skis for FREE
• Start date: NOVEMBER 2022
