- Denmark - Bagsværd

We are searching for the right person to drive Novo Nordisk’s global competition law compliance programme.

About the department

You will become part of the Litigation & Compliance team in Novo Nordisk headquarters. We are responsible for driving Novo Nordisk’s global compliance programmes within competition law, export controls, and privacy, as well as leading the implementation of the global business ethics compliance programme in headquarter functions. Further, we coordinate and oversee the company’s global litigation, arbitration, and government investigation matters. Located in Bagsværd, Denmark, we are part of Novo Nordisk’s Global Legal organisation, which employs 140+ lawyers worldwide.

The job

We offer you a challenging position within a high-performing, energetic team. Your primary responsibilities will be to further develop and drive implementation of Novo Nordisk’s global competition law compliance programme across the organisation. This involves strategic planning, carrying out risk assessments, drafting and implementing policies and procedures, conducting compliance training, and organising responses to authorities’ inquiries and investigations. You will work closely together with various Novo Nordisk departments and regions around the world and be responsible for setting direction for and advising these with a large degree of empowerment. In addition, you will be able to work within other parts of the team’s responsibility areas.

You have a law degree combined with 3-8 years of experience from a law firm or an internationally oriented company. You have expertise within competition law, and ideally also knowledge of international business and pharmaceutical industry practices.

You have high professional and personal integrity, are proactive, a good communicator, and able to find solutions to complex issues involving several stakeholders. Also, you are result-oriented, have good time management skills, and can handle multiple assignments simultaneously. You enjoy working in teams, but are able to deliver and drive projects and processes independently.

As the position has a global reach, it is important that you have strong English communication skills, awareness of cultural differences, and enjoy working in an international setting.

Please note that all applications should be in English.

At Novo Nordisk, your skills, dedication and ambition help us change lives for the better. In exchange, we offer you an opportunity to work with extraordinary talent and benefit from a range of possibilities for professional and personal development.
