Coordinator for IT Operations (m/f) On-site at the customer

Your tasks:

• Responsibility and coordination in operating diverse and, in part, extremely sensitive applications in the e-business sector (Unix, J2EE)

• Assessment of customer specifications

• Planning and accompanying change requests

• Main point of contact for operational issues

• Comprehensible presentation of complex technical facts

• Instruction and support for operators without having to work on the systems yourself

Your profile:

• Several years' experience of running Linux in an enterprise environment, e.g. Red Hat and SUSE

• Experience of working with script languages

• Experience in operating large-scale Linux environments (patch management, performance optimisation, automation, etc.)

• Experience in providing support for WebSphere and Unix

• Experience in advising clients about existing data centre services

• Experience in planning and designing Linux infrastructures

• You enjoy working with clients from heterogeneous specialist departments (inside and outside of IT)

• Readiness to travel nationwide is a requisite

• Ideally you hold an LPIC1 certificate

• Minimum B2 level German language skills
