Would you like to source consultants for Northern Europe’s most ambitious energy company, and do you thrive on challenges in a dynamic environment with strong development opportunities?

Join us in Exploration & Production (E&P) Procurement, which is a team of more than 30 procurement professionals driving procurement activities ranging from subsea exploration, well construction and operations to offshore platform construction projects. You will be part of our consultancy section, which currently manages the contracts of up to 100 consultants per year.

E&P Procurement is part of Group Procurement, but we are integrated in DONG Energy's E&P business unit to optimise the value that we deliver, ranging from transactional to more strategic and holistic solutions with focus on change management and process optimisation. However, we work across business units, where applicable. We focus our efforts on supporting the business and ensuring that the company works as a professional, reliable and responsible company.

You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work.

Your key duties will be to:

•conduct contract negotiation on a day-to-day basis

•ensure compliance with DONG Energy's hiring principles and the legislative and taxation requirements for consultants working in Denmark

•assist the requesters with any ad hoc issues related to hiring consultants

•liaise with section head to optimise processes and drive value creation continuously

•file contracts in accordance with our records management principles.

Your profile

You have experience with managing contracts covering consultancy services from a procurement function where you have negotiated contractual terms and conditions.

Your solid interpersonal skills enable you to build and maintain strong stakeholder relations, and moreover, you are able to work under tight deadlines on multiple projects. As we operate in an international environment, it is essential that you have strong communication skills and speak and write English fluently, enabling you to communicate and negotiate smoothly and efficiently with your business partners.

As a person, you have a hands-on mindset and are used to working in a changing environment with a wide range of stakeholders placed in different locations and countries. You have distinct people and business acumen, enabling you to develop an effective strategy for completing your tasks and influence suppliers and key stakeholders in the organisation.

We offer

A unique and challenging environment where you have every opportunity to develop your competences. You will work in a company with significant growth and in a procurement department with competent and dedicated colleagues.

Together with your 100 skilled and dedicated colleagues in Group Procurement, you will experience a high level of expertise and many complex and challenging work tasks. We focus on driving, streamlining and optimising procurement-related activities across the business, and we build up internal competences which have a significant impact. Working for us, you will experience extensive business insight and a strong sense of responsibility.
