Knightsbrook Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort is an Irish owned company and is part of the Cusack Group, with sister properties in Meath including Castle Arch Hotel, Ardboyne Hotel and Newgrange Hotel. Our hotel is located in Trim, 30 mins from Dublin Airport and 15 minutes from Newgrange.

Our 131 room hotel and 28 self-catering holiday homes includes, fine dining restaurant, lounge, Swifts Bar, The River Spa, Health centre and pool and our award winning 18 hole resort golf course designed by Christy O’Connor junior.

The hotel is currently seeking to recruit enthusiastic full time Day Porter to join their professional and highly skilled team. If you would like to develop your career within a busy 4*hotel and have a real passion for the industry we could have an excellent opportunity for you.

The Role:

  • To give a warm, friendly welcome to all guests and customers entering the Hotel.
  • To carry out all Porterage duties as specified ensuring a high standard is maintained at all times.
  • To be available to assist Guests with their luggage and escort them to their Rooms in an efficient, informative and friendly manner.
  • Responsibility for guest security with particular reference to keys and baggage.
  • Answering the telephone, dealing with Guest enquires.
  • Ensuring all messages, faxes, post, deliveries etc. are delivered to guests as swiftly as possible.
  • Dealing with any guest queries or requests and acting as an information source for guests.
  • Communicating the Hotel Services and those of the Group to Guests.
  • To provide and control the collection, delivery and storage of Guests luggage and dry-cleaning.
  • To direct and help all guests entering the Hotel for whatever business i.e. Conferences, Meetings, Maintenance Work, Deliveries etc.
