Commis de rang - Villa San Michele, a Belmond hotel - Italy

For the 2024 season, we are seeking for a Commis de Rang (Restaurant Waiter/Waitress). The ideal candidate is enthusiastic in providing our guests with an authentic luxury experience in iconic destinations, demonstrating attention to detail.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Performs duties within the F&B department (serving and clearing dishes, setting up tables, cleaning the restaurant, and maintaining all work materials in good condition) according to company policies, procedures, and standards, always maintaining high standards.
• Pays attention to all aspects of our guests' experience throughout their entire stay, offering impeccable service and anticipating our guests' needs.

• Communication skills: communicates clearly and appropriately (both verbally and in writing). 
• Emotional intelligence: is attentive to the needs and emotions of our guests and colleagues, adapts one's own style accordingly. Can manage one's emotions in difficult situations. 
• Collaboration: is capable and eager to work in a team. Shares information and skills; actively seeks constructive feedback. 
• Flexibility: recognizes when it's necessary to use a different approach. Is willing to try and adopt new ways of doing things.
