Chief Concierge

We are currently looking for a Chief Concierge to join our Rosewood Munich team. Our Chief Concierge manages the operation of the Concierge team by assisting our guests with enthusiasm, efficiency, and professionalism at all times. He/she possesses thorough knowledge of all Concierge operations, Munich events and attractions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understands and can perform all duties of the Concierge.
• Motivates and provides a working environment in which associates are productive and working together to their strongest ability. Ensures positive communication with associates and managers, keeping morale high.
• Ensure a Concierge is scheduled for each shift and adequate coverage is arranged for holiday periods. Covers Concierge shifts as and when required.
• Possesses a thorough knowledge of the Front Office systems, such as Opera.
• At all times strive to represent Rosewood Munich in the most professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
• Managing the performance of the Concierge team, ensuring the team delivers the highest quality and Rosewood brand service standards to consistently meet and exceed all guest and VIP expectations.
• Works closely with other department heads in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.

• Well organized, self-motivated, and a good team player.
• Strong sense of responsibility and detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Calm demeanour in stressful situations and work in a solution-oriented manner.
• Good knowledge of German and English.

• Experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a luxury hotel.
