What you'll do
We are looking for an experienced accounting professional ensuring quality and compliance in UPM Specialty Papers Oy reporting. In your role you are concentrating on statutory, taxation and IFRS reporting and responsible for on time and correct reporting. You can add value and support colleagues in financial and tax reporting related questions, coordinate monthly closing process in own area, contribute to Specialty Papers business area result reviews and participate in development of accounting and reporting services, processes and systems. You are motivated to bring accounting and reporting services to world class levels. In this role you have full ownership of UPM Specialty Papers Oy reporting including SFS and CIT filings and ensure accurate and on time filings, correct recognition of equity shares, taxes and other liabilities and receivables. In addition, you need to ensure regulation and reporting changes are implemented correctly and accounting and reporting related topics are efficiently solved. We are also looking for someone who has good communication and monitoring skills to work with our outsourcing partners and internal stakeholders.
Who you are
- You have at least Bachelor's degree in accounting or equal qualification and at least five years' work experience in similar field of responsibility area
- You have a proven track record in complex accounting and experience from working in a taxation reporting environment
- You have good influencing and collaborating skills. Communication is not just about speaking clearly to your team or to your stakeholders, but it's also about making it natural to share your knowledge
- You have strong analytical skills and you are comfortable with changes. Fluency in Finnish and English is required
